Ronnie Tuten is the owner and principal of the newly formed McKee Technologies, powered by Bridgepointe. He has 30+ years of technology sales and leadership experience. He enjoys finding solutions for customers to help them be more competitive, effective, and efficient. He enjoys building strong relationships founded in trust and competence for his customers.
Bridgepointe is a Technology Advisory Firm with a 20-year reputation of trust coupled with a unique model that consistently drives value to their customers. Bridgepointe has over 250 suppliers that help engineer, evaluate, implement, and manage technology with a focus on driving value with positive business outcomes.
Ronnie came out of retirement during 2022-2023 to co-found CicadaCorp. He helped to build a solid foundation and to grow CicadaCorp in this rapidly changing industry. Late in 2023 one of the co-founders moved to buy out all ownership shares and Ronnie decided to take a few months off to build his own agency.
From 2011 to 2019, Ronnie was a Regional Sales Manager and Manager of Strategic Accounts at Spirit/Segra Communications. He was responsible for developing and securing new business along with retaining the existing base of customers. A key approach was introducing the latest technologies and providing customized solutions for new and existing customers.
Previously, he was a Regional Account Manager Director for Windstream Communications and its predecessor telecoms, NewSouth and Nuvox. He led their growth for 12 years through a team of twenty-two account managers in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. A point of pride with Ronnie was his work with BTI (1993-1997) developing a collegiate program. The Collegiate program grew to forty schools in six states. Ronnie entered the telecom industry in 1989 with MCI (formerly Telecom*USA) in sales where he earned Circle of Excellence awards and throughout his career, he was a consistent member of Presidents Clubs, Circle of Excellence, and Circle of Champions for increasing revenue, maintaining retention, and overall market growth.
Ronnie holds a degree in retail management from the University of South Carolina. He is married and has two children and three grandchildren. Pastimes include relaxing strolls on the beach, golf, college football, deep-sea fishing and spending time with family.
